Zoo Switzerland is the union of the five scientifically led zoos of Switzerland. Zoo Switzerland is a daughter association of WAZA.

The five members are

• The zoo-logical garden Basel
• The Tierpark Berne
• Nature and Tierpark Goldau
• The game park long mountain
• The zoo Zurich

Zoo Switzerland takes part in many nature and animal protection projects. Thus zoo Switzerland makes for example an active contribution to the resettlement formerly exterminated animals in Switzerland, like the Fischotter, the beard vulture or the wolf.

The condition to become a member of the organization is that the Tierpark is scientifically led, i.e., the line must be subordinate to a biologist or a zoologist.
