The Zumtobel corporation is a company, which concerns itself with the development, production and the selling of illuminating engineering. The company seat is in Dornbirn/Vorarlberg/Austria. The company drives lights out under the marks Zumtobel and Thorn as well as components for the illuminating engineering by the TridonicAtco group. Managing director is since 2003 Dr. Andreas J. Ludwig.

The Zumtobel group is represented and had with on all continents selling and technical bases in nearly 100 countries.

The Zumtobelgruppe decreases/goes back to the 1950 of Dr. Walter Zumtobel created electrical appliance and synthetic resin press work W. Zumtobel work, which produced fluorescent lamp ballasts for fluorescent tubes.
