Weekly Young Sunday (jap. shukan young sunday) is a Japanese Manga magazine, which addresses itself to young men (its).

The magazine is published weekly by the Shogakukan publishing house. Chapters of different Manga series constitute the main part of the magazine or - Kurzgeschichten. These are often sport, Comedy or romance stories. Also brutal, serious Manga such as Ichi the killers appears however in Young Sunday.

1976 appeared the first expenditure of the magazine, still under the name Mangakun. Shinji Mizushima, the draughtsman von Dokaben and Abusan, published there for the first time its 19 paperbacks comprehensive Mangaserie Kyuudou kun. 1979 received a new name to Mangakun - Shonen Big Comic. To 1987 popular series appeared such as Kaoru Shintanis AREA 88 under this name. Since 1987 are published the magazine under the name Young Sunday. 2005 had magazine an edition of 230.000 pieces per expenditure.

Well-known draughtsmen such as Rumiko Takahashi or Mitsuru Adachi worked already for Young Sunday.
