The enterprise was created 1919 and has today (2005) world-wide approx. 5000 coworkers. Yamazaki Mazak maintains 7 production plants as well as a larger number of technology and technique centers. The enterprise seat lies in Oguchi in close proximity to Nagoya, prefecture Aichi.
