The water hose plants (Lentibulariaceae) are a plant family, which belongs to the (Lamiales). All kinds of the family are often aquatic carnivorous plants (Karnivoren), to semi aquatic.

Systematics

The following kinds are assigned to the plant family:

  • (Pinguicula)
  • Staggered array traps (Genlisea)
  • Water hoses (Utricularia)

Among them the are considered as the kind, the following Kladogramm clarify the relations of the kinds:

Over 320 kinds of this family, about 220 is added alone is water hoses (Utricularia). The kind number grows steadily by recent discoveries.
