The WW-TV Westerwald Wied TV GmbH is belonged a local television station in the area of the Westerwald and to the largest regional transmitters of Germany. Is sent an in-hour regional information program, which is repeated once per hour in loop.

Program

Per day a half hour program is produced, which consists of regional messages, the weather, as well as regional sport and magazine contributions. The produced program is radiated daily again starting from 18.00 o'clock live one. Starting from 18:30 clock is then repeated the current program, in the Repeat so mentioned, once per hour. The transmitter achieves a Sehbeteiligung from daily approx. 56% and a technical range of 500.000 spectators according to own data.

History

Kind of sending of WW-TV was 15 July 1994.

In November 2000 the three regional television stations in the northern Rhineland-Palatinate (WW-TV, channel 10 and MYK-TV) united to the new transmitter TVT1. They reached thereby together 800,000 spectators. The union did not bring however the expected use and the new transmitter came into financial difficulties. A reason may lie also in the acceptance lacking of the new transmitter by the spectators. Thus one decided 2003 again to go separate ways. All three transmitters made a restart and send now again in their region alone. Since January 2006 Normann is a cutter managing director with WW-TV.
