"The works traffic ", is a traffic and/or a transport of a work, a manufacturer and a trade for their own products. In Germany is it is contained and the BAG (Federal Office for goods traffic) subordinated in the (transportation of goods by road law). In Austria it is regulated in the carriage of goods law.

Terms and explanation

In the correct official language, and/or after the law it is called works traffic. The handling-linguistic vernacular speaks of work traffic (with joint s), this is however the traffic, which takes place not on public roads, but within the borders of a business premises, like e.g. the fork-lift truck in a camp or also the airfield tank car on a traffic airfield. The "works traffic" is in traffic and transportation history the oldest kind of moving goods and/or humans. Legal regulation

In Germany sound BAG, the number of enterprises with work long-distance traffic decreased/went back in the past years and in the year 1996 operated 30,244 enterprises work long-distance traffic. Thus the number of enterprises was reduced an employing opposite 1994 by 6,4% and the amount of that by 12,4%. Since 20% of the enterprises with works traffic, which shift transports to commercial traffic, have omission of the tariff connection 1994. Liberalisation

The transports in the works traffic as transnational traffic within the European Union, had a relatively small meaning. From the liberalisation of the price formation the commercial goods long-distance traffic had registered at the beginning of of 1994 in the year 1997 and 1998 increases.
