The work analysis with following process synthesis forms the transition from the structure to the sequence organisation. That is, that the question about the WHICH (= task contents) into the question about HOW (task fulfilment) changes. In the concrete one that means that the subtasks determined by the task analysis and task synthesis (both parts of the organizational structure) (e.g. treatment of calculations) are divided into its smallest power components (e.g. accounting the calculation) (=Arbeitsanalyse) and in the context of the process synthesis (part of the sequence organisation) spatially, temporally and personnel into efficient work procedures to be combined. The work analysis with following process synthesis belongs to the traditional economical organization teachings and 1976 by Erich Kosiol was comprehensively represented.
In the context of the task analysis all tasks become into their smallest elements, which divides subtasks of lowest order, also tasks of elementary mentioned. These tasks of elementary form now the starting point for the work analysis. In the context of the work analysis these working parts, similar as with the task analysis, become into their smallest elements, which course element divides. During the qualitative and quantitative material equipment it must be paid attention always to the fact that the work fulfilment is endangered at no time. It is always important to keep in the eye that the personale, temp-oral and local synthesis only different points of view of only one process synthesis are.
After the adjustment of the Gagenaufgaben of a place now a certain work quantity (= several tasks of course) is assigned to a person, the place owner, under the criterion of optimal extent of utilization by humans and materials. This step is called personale process synthesis.
The temp-oral synthesis has the task to co-ordinate the achievements of the individual work persons temporally in such a way that for each subject the optimal turn-around time is reached. From this demand the additional task of the minimization of the organizational stocks is derived.
Apart from the two aspects already discussed the process synthesis can be regarded also under stress of the spatial criterion. Particularly on the organization and arrangement of the jobs in the working process, as well as on the equipment of the individual jobs is received here. The spatial arrangement should become fair here above all the goal of the minimization of in-plant routes of transportation.
Non--psychological goals orient themselves primarily at economic goals. They are directed particularly toward the outputs and the process activities and aim here at an increase of economy off.
With the psychological goals it concerns to adapt the conditions of work not so much around the adjustment of humans to the work, but, at humans. Both the humanization of the job and the increase of the coworker motivation stand here in the first place.
The suitability of this concept for the practical organization organization is not undisputed, therefore there are also points of criticism to it. Like that the separation is not clearly possible in structure and sequence organisation.
Further the result does not become all the more subjective, the more largely the number of analysis stages is, there it an obligatory proceeding for the production of work analyses and - syntheses gives.
Relevant the concept is particularly for the clear collection and description of complex tasks.
