Dr. - engineer Wolfgang Meyer is a high-ranking functionary in the range public local passenger traffic.

He was from 1977 to 2003 in the executive committee of the Cologne transporting enterprises represented, at the same time was assigned he the management of other infrastructure companies in Cologne, besides vice-president (1986-2001) and chairman of the board of directors goods traffic of the federation of German transport enterprises (VDV) (1991-1997).
