The wine cheese is a soft cheese speciality from the Steiermark.

Its ripe time amounts to six weeks. Meanwhile it is rubbed in repeated with a (wine yeast). The cheese receives thereby its typical, nearly black crust with a tender approach of milk mould. The wine cheese has one tender pikanten taste with an easy flavour of the branch ELT grape/cluster.
