The Wincor Nixdorf internationally GmbH with head office in Paderborn is the prominent European manufacturer of money automats, kiosk systems and computer cash registers, the pos systems in such a way specified. In addition to the product spectrum belong software solutions, service and Consulting for trading ventures, banks, Lotteriegesellschaften and companies from related ranges.

Wincor Nixdorf was created on 1 October 1999 as an independent society, predecessors was the Siemens Nixdorf Retail & Banking of system GmbH (1998-1999), the Siemens Nixdorf information systems AG (1990-1998) and the NIXDORF COMPUTER AG (1952-1990) of the German computer pioneer Heinz Nixdorf. Since May 2004 the parent company stock Wincor Nixdorf getting thing AG at the Frankfurt stock exchange is acted. Wincor Nixdorf is noted in the MDAX.

Wincor Nixdorf is represented in 30 countries with own subsidiaries and in more than 60 countries over partner enterprises. Scarcely 7000 coworkers world-wide gained a conversion of 1.74 billion euro in the financial year 2004/2005 (previous year: 1,54 billion euro).
