Willy Lessing (* 19 January 1881; "† 17 January 1939 in Bamberg) was a German Kommerzienrat and entrepreneur. From 1938 to its death he was a chairman of the Jewish Kultusgemeinde in Bamberg.
Lessing was born as a son of the Grossbrauers Simon Lessing and its Mrs. Clara. After the early death of its father he took over the line of the Bamberg AG as as well as his nut/mother. 1919 fused the brewery of its father with the attaining and developed in the consequence to largest breweries of Franconia. Lessing remained majority shareholder of the enterprise. After the seizure of power of the national socialists Lessings of portions of the 1936 were obligation-expropriated.
Several warnings for the defiance and the emigration of its wife and his son to England Lessing remained in the National Socialist Bamberg. 1938 he took over the presidency of the Jewish municipality of the city already dezimierten. Two further identified participants were not placed before court. 1948 decided the town councillor von Bamberg the Sophienstrasse, in which the family Lessing had lived to designate after Willy Lessing.
