The William Schmidlin AG (also briefly Schmidlin called) is only Swiss manufacturer of steel bath tubs. It has its seat in Oberarth in the canton Schwyz and busily about 70 coworkers (2005). With steel bathing and showering tubs it has a market share of approximately 50% in Switzerland.

Schmidlin was created 1947 by William Schmidlin and produced first bath tubs, which were welded together from three parts. Since 1961 in the low course procedure one works, which makes the production possible of the tub bodies in a piece.
