Dr. med. William Meinerzhagen (* 19. March 1893 in upper living, "† 21 October 1974 in Lindlar) was a German physician and politician.

Life

William Meinerzhagen lived his childhood with two brothers and four sisters in Oberhausen Osterfeld. Both brothers died in the First World War. Before the First World War it studied theology in however 1914 was drawn in and served as second lieutenant and a company leader. It was heavily wounded with Verdun. After the war it studied philosophy in Marburg and medicine in Munich, Vienna and Berlin. 1922 it passed its medical state examination in Berlin. In May 1923 it finally attained a doctorate to the Humboldt Universitat Berlin to the doctor of the medicine. After he had worked first on anatomical-pathological Institut of the Berlin, he began comprehensive specialist training with the ranges of internal medicine, surgery and It was active in this time in hospitals in Berlin, Bottrop and Lippstadt. On 1 August 1930 he became a Chefarzt, at that time still as voucher hospital led, Lindlarer of hospital.
