William flow (* 24 October 1858; "† 13 October 1928) was a German biologist and physician.

Flow was a president of the German Academy of Sciences. It wrote a first paper over a temporal regularity in the year 1906 in illness, reorganization and death date, which it determined with the disease processes of its patients (see also: Bio rhythm).

William flow was a close friend and trusted friend Sigmund Freuds. With flow accomplished Freud his own analysis and could a model set up. The friendship between Freud and flow divided itself however increasingly, 1903 met the two a last mark. The correspondence between Freud and flow from the years 1887-1904 in the year 1950 in retouched form one gave change (for the cancellations Anna Freud and Ernst Kris was responsible); since 1985 there (owing to the edition activity of Jeffrey Masson) is a unzensurierte expenditure of these letters.
