William Chalmers (* 13 November 1748 in (Sweden); "† 3 July 1811 in was a Swedish buyer and director of the Swedish east India company.

Chalmers buildup in as a son of the Scottish buyer Williams Chalmers and its Swedish Mrs. Inga Orre. He became a director of the Swedish east India company. As their representative and custodian he lived many European nations of trading bases from 1783 to 1793 in canton and Macao where established.
