William Adolf Scribonius (* 1550 in Marburg; "† 1600 in basket oh) were a philosopher, a physician and a teacher. It went also as a witch theoretician into action.

Life

Approximately in the year 1550 William Adolf Scribonius (= latinisierte form of "writer") is to have been born in Marburg. Unfortunately this is not completely safe, because few data of its life are generally delivered. It is safe that he attained a doctorate at the Philipps university Marburg. Afterwards it taught still some time in Marburg Philosophie, particularly the logic, before it went in the year 1581 to basket oh. Here he transferred the task to lead and above all logic inform the third class of the recently created High School to basket oh.

The desire to Scribonius' basket oh to go, seems to be connected closely with the fact that it was a trailer of Petrus Ramus. The work of William Adolf Scribonius is relatively extensive. It wrote medical, philosophical, scientific and theological writings. Its most important work within the field of philosophy:

• Its most important philosophical writing carries the title triumph to the Logica Ramea carries, where it turns to the logic of the Petrus Ramus. • With the medical writing Idea medicinae secundum logicas theses acc. de inspectione urinarum versus eos, qui ex etc., the 1584 in Lemgo appeared qualibet urina de quolibet morbo judicare volunt and then equal one year later again in Basel, quite attained in the area to the medicine to some reputation.
