Welfare man & suffering man was a prominent German high and Tiefbauunternehmen.

It decreases/goes back to the 1871 of Jakob welfare man (1846-1927) in Regensburg created construction industry J. Heilmann, which dedicated itself until 1876 to the building of railways, then v.a. the above ground construction. 1892 resulted from the entrance of architect Professor Max suffering man (1862-1931), who son-in-law of welfare man, the "open commercial company welfare man & suffering man" (starting from 1897 in the legal form of a GmbH with Richard Reverdy as further partner and managing director), which specialized in the building of theatres and other buildings of monumental. The today's form residents of Munich of the was established in the years 1896 and 1897 by the company Heilmann & Littmann.

After death Jakob's of welfare man was taken over the construction industry to Munich, Nuremberg and Berlin by the Heilmann' real estate company AG, whereby those developed for welfare man & suffering man building AG. This came up after 1980 took place fusion with the Sager & Woerner kg in the Heilit + Woerner building AG. In the year 2000 the H+W with the walter building AG fused. The deep and road construction section called themselves since this date walter Heilit traffic route construction GmbH. After the collapse the walter building AG united with DYWIDAG was taken over the enterprise of the STRABAG and firmiert since 1 August 2005 under the name of HEILIT+WOERNER building GmbH.
