Walter Breisky (* 8. July 1871 in Berne, Switzerland; "† 25 September 1944 in monastery new castle, Lower Austria) was a Austrian civil servant and politician.

It was member of the Christian-social party of Austria (CS).

1920 it was entrusted with the office of the undersecretary of state for inside and instruction, 1920-22 with that of the vice-chancellor and with the line of Board of Education and interior.

It led one day long (26. /27. 1922) the Office of the Federal Chancellor and managed the Federal Office for statistics of 1923-31 as a president.
