A vending machine is a machine, which spends goods against payment, which entrance to locked areas or to services makes possible.

From 1902 to 1962 existed in Philadelphia a restaurant, the horn & hand kind were called. It was operated completely by coins. Around 1920 the first beverage dispensers were built, the soda in cups filled up. 1926 invented the American William Rowe the cigarette automat
