The Vorritt was a privilege of the Oberlausitzer of leaning aristocracy, which was given to this 1544 in connection with the Decisio Ferdinandea by the king Ferdinand I. The king permitted thereby under certain preconditions the sales of leaning goods standing in the case.
Leaning goods could not be originally sold freely, but the owner of the Lehens needed in addition the consent leaning gentlemen. In particular if a Lehen stood in the case - that is, if the owner inheriting did not have and the property would drop back with its death at the national gentlemen - was not permitted the sales.
Ferdinand I. confessed a special arrangement to the Oberlausitzer aristocracy too: If the owner of the Lehens could prove its physical capability, it was allowed to sell the Lehen, even if it did not have inheriting. In addition it had to rise in full military equipment without assistance to a horse and in the yard of the Bautzener local castle before the Landvogt around-rides.
