Volkmar white (* 23. May 1944 in Zwickau) is Anthropologe, biologist, Genetiker and social historian. It is member of the international Academy of Sciences.
Starting from 1963 white studied Germanistik, geography and biology in Leipzig. Starting from 1968 it received special training in anthropology at the Humboldt university in Berlin. it began 1969 with the study of the social background of the mathematics-high-talented of the GDR, and it was adjusted in the department of sociology of the Academy of Sciences. it received the diploma for biology to 1970 from the Humboldt university and attained a doctorate for the first time 1972 to the Dr. rer. nat. 1974 took place a change to Leipzig to the German university for physical culture. Starting from 1977 it was active in the department of education sociology in Zentralinstitut for youth research. 1984 he became coworker of the research centre for regional history of the Central Institute for history of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin. As result of this activity it defended 1993 a Habilitationsarbeit for the social history of Saxonia (Dr. phil. having IL). 1990 it had been appointed as a director/conductor of the German central office for genealogy in Leipzig, which was subordinated 1995 to Saxonian public records Leipzig as department.
White belonged 1990 to the initial members of the German social union (DSU) and compiled the program of the party. He was a chairman of the DSU Leipzig and crossed later into the CDU, from which he withdrew 1993 again.
To suggestion of the federal state parliament parliamentary group of the NPD the president of the federal state parliament of Saxonia appointed it in March 2005 as an external expert into the Enquete commission "demographic development and its effects for the areas of life of humans in the Free State Saxonia as well as their consequences for the political action fields", from which he separated in January 2006 again. The moreover one it, beside numerous interviews in other mass media, was interview partner and guest author of the boys liberty and the German voice, which transferred and printed with the boys union regional organization Braunschweig lecture held on demography to interview form.
White appoints itself in its publications among other things to the work "The Bell Curve" of the authors Richard gentleman Mr. and Charles Murray. He is author of 180 scientific work and co-editors of several technical periodicals. In them it tried to prove different aspects of the close connection of biological determinants of intelligence and their effects on the life fate in societies of different type (e.g. agrarian, industrie, service and knowledge company). It tried to point out also the consequences of the differences of the IQ-distributions of different regions and states for their economic well-being being issued and/or guessing at unemployment. Under its books the book is "Psychogenetik of special importance: Human genetics in psychology and psychiatry" (VEB Gustav Fischer, 1982; its work as Dr. rer. nat at the same time. having IL) and "IQ-case: Intelligence, social structure and politics" (Leopold Stocker publishing house, 2000). In the latter the effects of the intelligence plants are to be pointed out on individual success in the training, in the occupation and in the social status.
