Virgin is a term in the Typografie, which is used, in order to mark a finished set side as error free.

Each set side for the pressure is read correction. In some printering there are for it trained coworkers, the Korrektoren. These examine the text for orthography, Typografie and sentence rules. In addition they mark incorrect in the sentence. If such a examined side does not contain errors, thus also no marks of correction on the side are present and this remains virgin.
