Uwe (* 1935 in Hamburg) is a German economist.

There it studied from 1955 to 1959 political economy and occurred 1960 international Institut for politics and economics HOUSE TEARS. From 1983 to 1998 he was its director. It is member in the club OF Rome, since 1999 its Secretary-General with seat in Hamburg. 1992-1998 he was besides a chairman of the German section club of the OF Rome.

was among other things a chairman of the academy for politics, economics and culture in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Schwerin) and is deputy chairmen of the advisory committee the Edmund Siemers donation (Hamburg). Besides he is a chairman of the advisory committee ECS (Hamburg) and member in various further committees.
