The United States pos valley service (USPS) is a US American national company, which postal service achievements offers and possesses on certain postal service achievements a monopoly. The head office is in Washington (D.C.). The USPS was created 1775 due to a decree of the second congress of continental by Benjamin Franklin. It employs today 700,000 employees.

The USPS maintains together with the Ministry of Defense the Army post office Office (army and Air Force) as well as the fleet post office Office (navy, naval infantry and coast guard).

The USPS maintains its own police: The United States pos valley Inspection service (USPIS).

Each post office writes the respective postal zip code over or beside the main entrance. Usual USPS vehicles do not lead Kfz characteristics, if they are assigned inland.
