The Furtwanger Uhrmacherschule is the oldest such school in Germany. This very day Uhrmacher are trained here.

Establishment

Division of the school

The professional school

The Technical High School

The second branch was a Technical High School, which developed itself further then to a vocational school center, the Robert Gerwig school. Here are commercial and economical school branches or also a technical and a restaurant High School.
