Timber construction, also timber construction method is called the use of the building material wood in the building industry - with the production of buildings -.

The building method can be a massive construction, as usual with blockhouse, is however the timber panel construction. The use of the regenerating raw material wood results in a relatively favorable ecological balance.

E.G. timber beam floors in the masonry construction, timber roof chairs on bricked or concrete buildings, roof trusses from wood specialized works or glued timber girders for resounding and many other areas of application.
