Tyll Necker (* 2 February 1930 in Berlin; "† 29. March 2001 in bath old RST) was a German entrepreneur and a president of many years of the BDI.

It made 1950 Abitur and studied in Goettingen, Munich and Hamburg national economy and philosophy.

it made its exam for 1955 as a diploma political economist. During its study he was a work student in the enterprise Hans cook & son (today Hako works GmbH & CO). After conclusion of its study Necker married the daughter of the founder of the Hako works. It occurred as a sales director the enterprise.

1960 he became a and partner and arranged that the works manufactures cleaning machines.

1977 became Necker vice-president of the federation German machine and equipment construction registered association and by October 1980 until September 1983 its president. Since 1980 Necker was presidency member of the Federal association of the German industry registered association (BDI). 1981 he became vice-president of the BDI and starting from 1982 additionally treasurers of the BDI.

From 1 January 1987 to 31 December 1990 Necker was a BDI president. Its successor became Heinrich white, under which Necker was vice-president. After Querelen in the BDI executive committee white withdrew in August 1992 and Necker to the kommissarischen president was ordered. In November 1992 he was selected again to the BDI president and remained this by 31 December 2004. Necker was replaced by Hans Olaf handle.
