Twix is of Mars Inc. manufactured Schokoriegel. It consists of cookie surrounded with a layer Karamell lying over it, by milk chocolate. Typically two latch plates are in a packing, however Twix is somewhat thinner than many other Schokoriegel. Two latch plates weigh together 58 gram.

Until 1991 the latch plate in Germany, Finland, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland and Sweden Raider was called, then the name on the internationally standardized label name Twix was changed. The German advertising slogan "Raider is called now Twix,"… otherwise changes nix "since then a popular quotation for the attempt became to give to old things a more modern feature as only the name is changed.

In some countries there is a version with peanut butter instead of Karamell. Since summer 2005 there is the Limited edition named Twix white with white chocolate, with "´Zitrone, with Cappuccino and many other sorts.
