With Truckverbot one marks (in Germany into "§"§ the 115-119a trade and industrial regulations regulated) the prohibition of the Trucksystems, i.e., to remunerate as employers its employees with goods from own production.
The employer is to pay, thus with a fungiblen currency equip rather its employees in money.
The Truckverbot is to prevent that the merchandising risk for the goods is put on to the employees. Due to the Truckverbots it is also inadmissible after the German right, if an employer sells goods to its employees off against payment by instalments and takes the rates then from the pay.
It remains however possible that a part of the remuneration is granted as special purchase. This special purchase, payment in kind or discounts to products of the employer, must be agreed upon between the work contract parties and lie in the interest of the employee.
In Great Britain in the years 1831, 1887 and 1896 so-called Truck Acts were issued, which limited or forbade the Trucksystem.
