Trains is an appearing monthly railway magazine from the USA. It is one of the two important magazines of the publishing house Kalmbach Publishing. The magazine of railway fans and read at the railway industry interested equally. The edition amounted to 2005 136,500 copies.

The magazine was created 1940 by aluminium C. Kalmbach and is the largest and oldest North American consumer magazine to the Eisenbahnverkehr. Sometimes in the center of the reporting the railways are located in the USA, Canada and Mexico. In addition, besides reports appear over the railways world-wide.

The magazine contains a monthly column internationally of the Herald Tribune journalist Don Phillips. This wrote in former times also for the Washington post office.
