The Tower case is a Wasserfall in the north of the Yellowstone national park in Wyoming, the USA. The water of the Tower Creek falls there nearly 40 m (132 ft.) into the depth.
The Tower case is directly beside the Yellowstone River. It was thus designated 1870 by Samuel T. Hauser, a participant of the Washburn Langford Doane expedition, due to the volcanic Turmspitzen to both sides of the water fall. In spring the quantity of water of the Wasserfalls is ten times higher than in the autumn.
Already the earliest travelers into the Yellowstone area mentioned the Tower case. When first painted Thomas Moran 1871 or 1872 a picture of it, which should arrive later at celebrity.
