Tonuses Hilti (* 17 January 1914 in Schaan; "† 2 January 2006 in Triesen) was a Liechtensteiner entrepreneur and joint founder of the canned goods manufacturer Hilcona AG.

Life

Tonuses Hilti was a brother of the founders of the drill press manufacturer "Hilti ", Eugen Hilti and Martin Hilti.

Tonuses Hilti learned at the technician technical school in Braunschweig the canned goods technology. 1935 it created "the Conservenfabrik AG in Schaan as well as a brother-in-law ". In the year 1936 the production of canned goods with "peas, beans, spinach and different fruits started ". Soon thereafter in the same year the company in "Scana AG was renamed ".

1939 developed beside the factory for canned goods a sauerkraut factory. The extension and development of the factory made the production of frozen vegetable for 1956 possible. 1973 were renamed the enterprise in "Hilcona AG ". At Hilcona today approx. 1000 coworkers work.

Hilti was married and had four sons (Ekkehard, Wolfgang and Dieter) and a daughter (Bettina).
