Time thieves in the self management, and/or time management, avoidable disturbances are called, which divert from the planned completion from tasks or which extend completion time unnecessarily.
In appropriate training courses techniques are obtained, as such time thieves can be switched off.
A simple example is for instance the suggestion to receive in principle no telephone calls and to delegate these to the secretary or an answering set. It is recommended to take then a "telephoning block into account" in which all necessary telephone calls are then accomplished actively. The advantage would be in this case in the fact that one can prepare for the respective discussions then better (to lay out of procedure, note book, calendar etc.).
Such concepts of self management a rationally economic model is the basis. On the other hand about some systematic advisors would advise against such efficiency-oriented strategies and disturbances a rather positive Potenzial would grant.
