The time-autonomous working group is a work time model. This model can be regarded as continuation of the job division. The employees in a working group determine jointly the range of their work time in and - duration. Must be considered only few operational defaults, as for example operational readiness level or response times. Apart from these few basic data the work giver indicates still the goals of the working group which can be fulfilled.

In order to realize this Model, a high sole responsibility of the coworkers is presupposed. Exactly as with the job-sharing a good working climate must prevail within the group.

By this close co-operation the confidence can to be strengthened into the organization and the coworkers be able more influence on the organization of the work to take.

In the establishment phase a increased co-ordination and organization overhead result for superiors. Problematic also the possible isolation of the groups can regard within the company.
