Thrustmaster is an US-American company, which specialized since beginning of the 90's after to produce Joysticks and thrust automatic controllers particularly for flight simulators (on PC basis). The available products were characterized through:

• high authenticity and orientation at the original models of military aviation
• good quality
• very high price

Nevertheless the products found to large resemblance at in the 90's the very large fan municipality of PC flight simulators. Last and probably most expensive piece from the hardware hardwareschmiede was the Thrustmaster in such a way specified HOTAS Cougar, which was to be bought 2004 for scarcely 350 euro.

In the meantime Thrustmaster of Guillemot was taken over.
