Theobald Kerner (* 14. June 1817 in Gaildorf; "† 11 August 1907 in wine mountain) was a German physician and poet and a son Justinus Kerners.

Life

Starting from 1835 it studied medicine in Munich, peppering castle and Vienna. After conclusion of the study it supported its father in its practice in wine mountain. At present the March revolution 1848/49 it operated politically, became a captain in the citizen resistance and town councillor in wine mountain. Its father complained in a letter at Ludwig UHL and, its son sympathizes with Friedrich Hecker. On 10 September 1848 it gave a speech on a meeting in Heilbronn, in which it itself to its democratic and republican convicition well-known. On 25 September it, warned by gendarmes, forestalled its forthcoming arrest by escape abroad French to Strasbourg. From family reasons it returned on 7 April 1849 and first against bail on free foot was left. On 7 September 1850 he was condemned because of call to the high treason by the court of assizes in Ludwigsburg to ten months fortress detention, which he served from November 1850 until April 1851 on the Hohenasperg, until he became to dismiss on operation of his father prematurely.

Theobald Kerner was twice married.
