The super Nanny is a maintenance transmission of the transmitter RTL in the character of the Reality TV, in which families, which are overtaxed with the education of their children, by which Katharina hall franc and Nadja Lydssan are supported and advised.

Since the Erstaustrahlung in September 2004 the transmission (with interruptions) runs, weekly on Wednesdays at 20.15 o'clock. Producer of the series is the company Tresor TV.

The transmission with ratingses from temporary over 5 million spectators carries education in the social debate with to a stimulation of the topic. As model the British TV-version Supernanny served the transmission, only in July 2004.

The Austrian counterpart the super Nannys started in March 2005 with the transmitter ATVplus. Further folders are in the USA, in Australia, in France, in Spain and in the Netherlands.

It gave uniquely a Begleitjournal, which "official super Nanny magazine", which appeared in May 2005 in an edition from 200.000 copies, given change of the Panini publishing house. It deepened the topic of the transmission and reported of long-term successes of the educating intervention. Because of disappointing sales figures the magazine, which would have appeared quarterly with success, was adjusted however after an expenditure.

Criticism

In their representation style the series encounter criticism. The substantial reproaches read:

• Exposing of children (as "monsters"), injury of privacy, threatening Stigmatisierung in the social surrounding field. Stress by FE storage of turning team.
