With Thalia one marks generally three magazine projects Friedrich Schillers.
From 1785 to 1787 it published the Rheini Thalia, from 1787 to 1791 the Thalia in the closer sense. From 1792 to 1795 then the new Thalia, which likewise came out in the G.J. publishing house.
The Rheini Thalia contained among other things its lecture which can a good standing looking stage actually , the letters of a traveler Dane, cutouts from Don Carlo, its Ode to the joy and different texts of Diderot, kind of thrust and other one.
The Thalia contained e.g. its spirit rather in continuations and texts of Christian Gottfried of grains and texts of F. of Huber and J.G. Forster.
The new Thalia contained beside Schillers over Anmuth and became also translations from Vergil and Ariosto and other texts.
