The telecommunication engineering central office (FTZ) was a central central authority of the Federal Postal Administration administration. It became to 14. March 1949 based and had its seat in Darmstadt. It became starting from 1991 first in central office the permission of telecommunications equipment (ZZF) and to 10. March 1992 in Federal Office for permissions in telecommunications (BZT) renamed.
