SAP is the unit "SAP of the Application performance standard", with which the system requirements SAP of a system are computed hardware-independently (see http://www.sap.com/solutions/benchmark/measuring/index.epx)

On the other hand:

SAP (Simplified Acute Physiology Score) a point value of which is in medical those the physiological "condition" of a patient indicates. There are many further of such point values like for example TISS.

Computation

Into the computation (of SAP II) the following values flow:

• Photograph status
• Chronic suffering
• The old patient
• Syst. Blood pressure [mmHg]
• Heart frequency [1/min]
• ["°C]
• only with machine artificial respiration: PaO2/FiO2 [mmHg]
• Drove out urine [l/24Std.]
• Urea in the serum [mg/dl]
• Leukocytes [1000/ml]
• Potassium in the serum [mmol/l]
• Sodium in the serum [mmol/l]
• Bicarbonat in the serum [mmol/l]
• Bilirubin in the serum

From these values with different weighting a point value is provided.
