Sven Simon (alias of Axel Springer jr.) (* 1942; "† January 1980) was a very well-known photographer.

The son of the publisher Axel Springer achieved international acknowledgment as a sport photographer and won many renowned prices.

Further he was editor-in-chief of the world on Sunday.

In January 1980 he committed at the age of 38 years suicide.

In order its memory to true, donated the world on Sunday "the Sven Simon price ", its father "the Sven Simon park " at the falcon stone.
