A supplier contract is an agreement with a supplier over the supply of certain goods or services. Contrary to a delivery schedule a supplier contract does not only contain accurate delivery volumes and dates of delivery, but definitions over the total extent and the concerning the price conditions. One differentiates

• Quantity contracts, in those one specifies the total quantity in the agreement period, which can be supplied, and
• Value contracts, in which the total value of the supplies and achievements is agreed upon.
