The Subaru Leone 4WD station Wagon is one 1972 presented combination vehicle of the middle class of Subaru.

It is the first ever road vehicle with insertable all-wheel drive, manufactured in mass production. It is derived from 1971 the Subaru Leone appeared and differed from that likewise 1972 introduced combination variant, the Subaru Leone station Wagon only by the all wheel technology. The vehicle was thus mainresponsible a large sales impact and for the fact that Subaru until today belongs to the most well-known manufacturers of all-wheel-propelled vehicles.

The vehicle was equipped with a flat-four with 1.361 cm capacity and an output of 53 KW (72 HP). The maximum torque amounted to 100 Nm with 3000 rpm. Despite the weight-increasing all-wheel drive the unloaded weight of the vehicle amounted to only 855 kg.
