Structure crisis trusts one calls trusts, which are formed by enterprises in phases of a difficult economic surrounding field within an industry.

After the German law against restraints of trade they are permitted for manufacturers, and processing enterprises, if they want to adjust a decrease in sale, which is due to a lasting change of the demand. The trust members must cause a regular adjustment of the capacity to the need. The competitive conditions in the industries concerned must be considered with the agreements.

In Germany those are for example the steel industry and shipyards.
