Stephan Koren (* 14 November 1919 in Viennese new city, "† 26. 1988 in Vienna) was a Austrian politician and Wirtschaftswissenschafter.

Stephan Koren was active from 1945 to 1965 in Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitut, afterwards he dozierte at the University of Innsbruck and at the school for economics Vienna. As an advocate of hard currency politics it coined/shaped the Austrian economic policy.
