Snyder's OF Hanover is an US-American brezel and potato chip manufacturer with seat in Hanover (Pennsylvania).

History

The enterprise was created in the year 1909 of Harry Vth Warehime as Hanover Pretzel company. Warehime manufactured one sort Brezeln with the Hanover Olde Tyme Pretzel only. 1923 were opened by the married couple William and Helen Snyder the first work. Their sons Edward and Bill were responsible for the entrance into potato chip production. In the year 1948 one opened a second work in Berlin (Pennsylvania).

1963 were bought up that the enterprise by Hanover of fire. Under the name Hanover Foods was extended the product range among other things by different cakes. Until 1977 one placed however their production and concentrated on Brezel and potato chip. In the year 1981 Snyder's OF Hanover became independent of Hanover Foods.

Enterprise data

The enterprise obtained in the year 2003 incomes at a value of 244 million dollar. In the USA approximately 72.3 million units could be sold in the period of October 2003 until October 2004 and a conversion of 141.3 million dollar be obtained (data without whale Mart). Thus Snyder's OF Hanover was after Rold gold the second-follow-richest US-American Brezelmarke. In the fourth quarter 2004 Snyder's could obtain even a higher conversion than Rold gold.
