The shower GmbH with seat in Iserlohn is a Herstellerin of pens and owner of the mark shower.

The enterprise was created 1850 and originally manufactured needles and Fahrradspeichen. Since 1895 pens from steel were produced: Indication, writing, ornamentation and Kalligraphiefedern. According to enterprise data so far over 400 different feathers/springs were developed. Besides up-to-date also penholders, ink and india inks, high-quality calligrapher IE papers and Linolschnitt cutleries are manufactured. The Firmenlogo is a cock in a circle. The label name shower and the Logo are engraved on the feathers/springs. An earlier label name for the feathers/springs was shower cock, an earlier advertising slogan, which is to be seen this very day at the former factory building, read: "The best feather/spring, dear son, is of shower - the Iserlohn".

One of the old special feathers/springs is interesting for composers: In only one course one can draw the five Notenlinien.

The today's shower GmbH is part of the Exacompta Clairefontaine company, which and artist need of different marks drives stationery out.
