The Second Channel of German Television television advice is the broadcast council of the second German television. It sets up to guidelines for the transmissions Second Channel of German Television, selects the director and advises it in program questions. The committee supervises the adherence to of the program guidelines and the principles set up in the broadcast state contract.

The television advice is also the partner for the spectators.

The Second Channel of German Television television advice consists of 77 members from the relevant political and social groups. In addition among other things representatives of the Federal Government, the 16 Lands of the Federal Republic and the municipalities, the churches, trade unions and employers' associations, the sport and the environmental federations count.

The television advice meets usually four times per year. The collecting mains to the television advice become in the constant committees of the committee before-advise.
