Scho Ka Kola is a koffeinhaltige chocolate. It was manufactured since 1935 by the company Hildebrand in Berlin and/or by different licensees. In the Second World War it was called colloquially "flier chocolate", because it, beside other consumer circles of the German armed forces, was a component of the Air Force food supply. 1969 acquired Stollwerck with the buying up of Hildebrand also the trademark laws. In July 2005 she sold the mark Scho Ka Kola to the Genuport trade AG.
Scho Ka Kola is a bitter chocolate and contains approx. 0,2% natural Koffein made of cocoa (58% cocoa portion at least), roasted coffee (2,5%) and corresponds to Kolanuss excerpts, this 200 Milligramm per 100-Gramm-Packung. Thus three Scho Ka Kola corners have for instance the effect of a cup of Espresso.
The chocolate is vorportioniert and in a red-white, round box is offered in characteristic triangular pieces, which cult status reached. The packings before 1950 were still round sticking boxes. The Design was only slightly changed since introduction of the chocolate.
